Crown & Bridge
A crown is a covering placed over an existing tooth. A crown may be necessary due to a cracked or discolored tooth, to strengthen a tooth with little remaining tooth structure, following root canal therapy, or to anchor the attachment of a fixed bridge.
The materials we use allow us to provide a crown free of metal, in order to create the most natural look as possible.
A bridge is one option used to replace a missing or lost tooth. A bridge permanently anchors a replacement tooth or teeth to the tooth on either side. With the materials available today, we are able to achieve a natural appearance while preserving quality function.
It is necessary to replace missing teeth in order to restore and maintain the natural bite, prevent shifting or tilting of surrounding teeth, discourage further bone loss or periodontal disease, and to enhance your smile and speech.
